The Role
Safe and timely delivery of our First Of A Kind commercial plant is the business priority until beneficial operation of Plant 1 is established. We are therefore looking for an innovative and highly capable Senior Process Engineer to join our growing Process Engineering team with its best-in-class safety culture. In this role, you will:
-support ReVentas’s best-in-class safety culture
-provide focused technical expertise to support FEED and Detailed Design, to safely deliver beneficial operation of Plant 1 and meet agreed project deliverables
-have close engagement with third party engineers ensuring a smooth technical transfer and a FEED and detailed design that fits ReVentas requirements
-work closely with the Principal Process Engineers and the rest of the technical team, reporting into the Engineering Director
-work closely with the Technical Director in understanding ongoing developments of ReVentas’s Pilot Plant and technology, and how these impact on Plant 1 design and any future Plant 1 modifications.

Qualifications
-You have a first class or upper second class Degree, a Masters or a PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field
Skills and Experience
-You have a best-in-class attitude to safety
-You have a number of years’ experience in Process Engineering roles
-You have a strong understanding of FEED and detailed design workflows
-You communicate well with people outside your own sphere of knowledge and experience
-You are curious about root causes and can demonstrate a history of problem solving and a commitment to delivery
-As a stand-out candidate, you have significant knowledge and experience of different industrial separation and purification processes and Aspen modelling
-Experience of working for, or closely with, an EPC company on the delivery of whole-plant projects would be advantageous
-Experience of developing novel or First Of A Kind processes would be advantageous
Duties/Responsibilities
-You are a role model of best-in-class Safety, Health and Environment practice
-You support FEED and Detailed Design, ensuring engineering deliverables meet our safety, technology and performance requirements
-You interface with the FEED and EPC contractor, reviewing and approving key process engineering deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, process simulations, heat and material balances, equipment data sheets, control philosophies and so on
-You provide technical input and clarification to support design reviews, HAZOPs and other process safety assessments
-You own the design of specific Plant 1 unit operations
-You help ensure Plant 1 design, commissioning and operation has ALARP risk, managing risk proactively
-You work closely with the rest of the ReVentas Engineering team, the wider technical team, and third parties, to obtain their input in solving Plant 1 design and technology issues
-You support the team in responding to unanticipated design issues and programme deviations in a thoughtful and informed way, devising mitigation strategies
-You support the recruitment and development of Process Engineers as the team continues to grow
