The role
Safe Pilot Plant operation is essential to our business as we expand our process and cover different feedstock streams. For this reason, ReVentas is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to ensure safe detailed design, commissioning and beneficial operation of Pilot Plant modifications, as well as designing and running trials to optimise processing conditions for different feedstocks. The role will support the commercial plant design by capturing the lessons learnt and data generated on the pilot plant in the commercial design basis. You will provide focussed, high-level technical expertise, strategic planning and leadership to safely deliver beneficial operation of the pilot plant in its expanded guise to meet investor deadlines and deliverables. The role will report into the Technical Director.
This is a leadership role, providing technical direction and support for the pilot plant team and as such, the Principal Process Engineer would be expected to be able in principle to run the pilot plant and understand all aspects of its capabilities.

Qualifications
-You have a first class or upper second class Degree, a Masters or a PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
Skills and Experience
-You have a proven best in class attitude to safety.
-You have significant experience in a related field, ideally on Pilot Plant.
-You are curious about root causes and can demonstrate a history of problem solving and a commitment to delivery.
Duties/responsibilities:
-To lead staff in a Best in Class SHE culture, being a role model of Best in Class SHE practice.
-To ensure pilot plant modification design, commissioning and operation has ALARP risk, managing risk proactively.
-To ensure Pilot Plant safety systems are expanded as required, are understood and are used.
-To work closely with Technical Director in providing technical leadership
-To lead a culture of continuous capability development within the ReVentas team, coaching and developing colleagues as required (both technically and behaviourally) to help them reach their potential.
-To utilise own expert knowledge to set the direction and detail of pilot plant modification commissioning, snagging and run programme, and ensure detailed plans exist to achieve these, anticipating potential issues.
-To provide and facilitate excellent 360 degree communication within the ReVentas business, including flagging possible future deviations and devising mitigation strategies.

The role
Safe and timely delivery of our First Of A Kind commercial plant is the business priority until beneficial operation of Plant 1 is established. We are therefore looking for innovative and highly capable Senior Process Engineers to join our growing Process Engineering team with its best in class safety culture. You will provide focussed technical expertise to support FEED and Detailed Design, to safely deliver beneficial operation of Plant 1 and meet agreed project deliverables. The role will work closely with the Principal Process Engineer and report into the Engineering Director.
It is expected that the role will involve close engagement with third party engineers to help ensure a smooth technical transfer, and a detailed design that fits ReVentas requirements.
Your role has wider aspects; to support ReVentas’s Best in Class Safety culture and to work closely with the Technical Director in understanding ongoing developments of ReVentas’s Pilot Plant and technology, and how these impact on Plant 1 design and any future Plant 1 modifications. Duties/responsibilities:
-You are a role model of Best in Class Safety, Health and Environment practice
-You help ensure Plant 1 design, commissioning and operation has ALARP risk, managing risk proactively
-You own the design of specific Plant 1 unit operations e.g. precipitation and separation
-You work closely with the rest of the ReVentas Engineering team and wider technical team, and third party, to obtain their input in solving any Plant 1 design and operability issues.
-You support the team in responding to unanticipated design issues and programme deviations in a thoughtful and informed way, devising mitigation strategies.

The role
We are looking for innovative and highly capable Process Engineers to join our growing Process Engineering team with its best in class safety culture. You will be working with cutting edge chemistry and technologies, building on the research carried out in our labs and pilot plant, to design our first commercial plant. As such, you will be working closely with the lab, pilot plant and commercial teams and third parties. You will be reporting to a Principal Process Engineer who expects you to take ownership of project tasks, plan your activities and find solutions to our key technical challenges. You will be fully supported by the Senior Management Team and the whole technical team including our experienced engineers. -Work safely, suggest and take ownership of safety improvements
-Support lab and pilot plant development and optimisation
-Support pilot plant operation to gain process understanding
-Work closely with Principal Process Engineer and wider team to assess and utilise lab and pilot plant results, to inform and produce FEED for first commercial plant.
-Own sections of FEED delivery, including vendor engagement
-Plan and take ownership of own agreed work schedule
