We’re delighted to share that Emmeline Aves, representing ReVentas, will speak at the upcoming Go Circular webinar, hosted by Globuc on “Dissolution Recycling: Driving True Circularity in Plastics.”
This live session will take place on 2nd of December 2025 and will bring together industry experts to showcase how dissolution recycling is transforming the way plastics are recovered and reused.
The webinar will feature case studies demonstrating how dissolution recycling enables true circularity — separating polymers from additives, inks, and contaminants using selective solvents, all without breaking down the polymer chains. This gentle yet highly effective process maintains the material’s original quality and performance, allowing recyclates to match virgin-grade properties in demanding applications.
Speakers will explore how dissolution recycling is tackling some of the hardest challenges in plastic waste management — from multi-layer packaging to heavily contaminated streams — turning materials once considered unrecyclable into clean, valuable feedstocks for new production. The discussion will also highlight how dissolution can reduce carbon emissions compared with virgin plastic manufacturing and bridge the quality gap that has historically limited recycled materials in premium packaging and consumer goods.
ReVentas’ perspective: refining polymer performance through dissolution
As part of the webinar, Emmeline Aves will discuss how the ReVentas process enhances the dissolution recycling landscape by enabling precise modification of polymer properties. Unlike conventional recycling methods that degrade material quality, the ReVentas system allows PE and PP to be refined and tuned — producing virgin-like resins capable of replacing fossil-based materials across packaging, cosmetics, and industrial applications.
ReVentas’ approach focuses on purity by design: removing only what doesn’t belong and keeping the polymer whole. By combining solvent selectivity with controlled recovery and regeneration, the process yields high-purity polymers with consistent rheology, clarity, and mechanical strength. This opens scalable routes for producing recycled content that meets food-grade and performance standards, moving the industry closer to a genuinely circular plastics economy.
An opportunity to connect and collaborate
ReVentas is proud to be part of the global dialogue driving circular transformation. Events like the Go Circular webinar are crucial for bringing together polymer scientists, converters, recyclers, and brand owners to align innovation with real-world application.
Emmeline is looking forward to connecting with participants, sharing insights from ReVentas’ latest research, and exploring how selective dissolution can bridge the gap between laboratory progress and commercial implementation.
